Vybz Kartel made history yesterday in Jamaica with his freedom street concert which generated more money for the economy than any other artist has ever done. The Freedom Street concert was more than just a comeback for the world boss. It was a cultural and economic revolution for the country too. Yesterday the entire city of Kingston was vibrantly lit with economic activity from taxi drivers to booked out hotels thanks to one man. Over 35000 people were expected to attend the highly anticipated concert at the national stadium, a testament to the Gaza boss's enduring popularity and influence. The event shaped out to be more than just a music spectacle but a major economic driver for Jamaica.
The Ticket prices for the concert ranged from $150 for bleacher seats to $12,500 for the VIP treatment offering options for fans with varying budgets. To break it down for you, bleacher bench seats cost 150$ making them the most affordable option. Grandstand seats however were 400$ offering a direct view of the stage. North and south infield standing tickets were 500$ each while center stage tickets cost 2,000$ with a close up view and mixed drinks included. For the ultimate luxury, The VIP section cost 12,000$ for a group of eight including parking and a bottle package. With the pricing structure listed above, ticket sales alone were projected to generate over $25 million which is approximately 3.8 billion Jamaican dollars. Hotels in Kingston were fully booked with tourists from across Jamaica and abroad. The hospitality sector was expected to rake in over 375 million Jamaican dollars from accommodations while visitors were expected to spend another 262 million Jamaican dollars on food, drinks, and local attractions.
Concertgoers also bought merchandise like branded t-shirts and souvenirs contributing heavily to the economy. Street vendors and small businesses around the venue also greatly benefited from the concert seeing a huge upscale in their sales. Transport providers like taxis, buses, and motorcycles also cashed in alright. The concert created over one thousand temporary jobs with local workers expected to collectively earn fifteen million Jamaican dollars. In addition, the government was meant to collect 3.75 million dollars from ticket sales, merchandise, and business activities. In total Vybz Kartel's Freedom Street concert was expected to inject nearly 30 million dollars into Jamaica's economy a testament to the power of culture and entertainment as an economic engine.

Holland also said that he was making a new movie with Christopher Nolan but does not know anything about it yet and it hasn't started shooting.
