Six killed in Jerusalem bus stop shooting as violence escalated.

Tragic has hit Jerusalem one of the deadliest attacks has hit the city on Monday morning just yesterday, When two unknown Palestinians gunmen opened fire on a bus resulting to six people dying on the spot and eight others injured.

Unfortunately accordingly to the Israeli officials, the unknown assailants drove to Ramot junction , at one of the busiest streets in Israel at the northern edge of Jerusalem, and opened fire on innocent civilians who's waiting for the buses to turn up. And this tragic incident happened at the end of rush hour. Shooting at innocent children and women, as the bullets were fleeing left to right, vehicle and shattered windows all broken .

The officials confirmed that it was a civilian and a off duty soldier who quickly returned fire, as the result of killing the two unknown gunmen right on the scene. So many items were found on the unknown gunmen, such as ammunition, knife and weapons. Officials and eyewitness reports that the unknown gunmen were from the west bank village of Qatanna and Al Qubeiba roughly like 11 kilometers west from the attack site

And the hospital announced that 2 remain wounded and they're in a critical condition as we speak.

One of the local by the name of Esther lugasi she described how terrifying this experience was for her. Unfortunately I was just doing my regular stuff and I hear a shoot fire suddenly I felt like running for eternity , I thought today was my last day on the earth.

Fortunately a first responder came around just with in a minute , by the name of Daniel Katzenstein , he's from United Hatzalah . He recounted by treating bus driver by the name of Mohammed , at that time Mohammed rushed to help other people . Sadly Katzenstein said unfortunately this not a battle between Islam and Judaism . He said this incident is about people who wish to do harm to other people that wish to live their lives freely and peacefully .

Political leaders Reaction of the incident

Shortly after the incident occurred Israelis Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the tragic scene , he said the country is in a war of terrorism on several fronts. He acknowledged the fact that the Israeli security forces had stopped so many attacks in the west bank this year. The prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu also said that Israel security will pursue everyone who had their hands or take part in the attack against the Israeli people , he said a stronger measure would take place in the days to come.

Currently the Israeli military have confirmed that soldiers have sealed the nearby village of Ramallah in the west bank to prevent any other attacks and to strengthen the security

The president of Israel, Isaac Herzog, said he condemned this tragic incident, and calling it , cold blooded murderers of peaceful citizens in Israel. And they're absolutely evil . He's calling on International community to recognize this incident that Israel is facing.

International Condemnations

The attack drew attention to international response, United Kingdom, new foreign Secretary , Yvette Cooper said she was horrified by the tragic incident. And the French President Emmanuel Macron issued a strong condemnation.

Sadly the Palestinians presidency announced through their Wafa officials news agency, saying they have no idea of any attacks on the citizens of Israel or any attacks on civilians , weather Palestinians or Israeli despite their current situation all forms of violence and terrorism they have nothing to do with the attack yesterday.

Sadly Hamas have rewarded the shooting describing it as a heroic and exceptional operation that took place , By the true Palestinians children. Unfortunately the group that carried on this attack Hamas see it as a responsibility and a birth right of every Palestinians citizens , they said it's a natural response after all Israeli is killing their people in the Gaza strip . It a crime and genocide against the Palestinians people.

A Wider View

This incident during the current Genocide that Israel has unleashed on Gaza . Israel and Gaza have been fighting since the assault on southern Israel that happened in October 7 2023 that triggered the devastating military campaign in Gaza . Unfortunately this fighting been going on since 2 years ago with Israeli's forces intensifying operations in the city of Gaza.

Meanwhile attack in Jerusalem have been less during this period , but not unexpected or unprecedented . In the west of Jerusalem three Israeli men kill two Palestinians gunmen at a bus stop on November 2023, and Hamas claimed responsibility of the attack.

Currently this recent attack that happened on Monday Hamas and Israel are considering a ceasefire and a hostage exchange proposal . This was made possible by the help of the white house . Hopefully the shooting shouldn't escalate further and this negotiations is very potential and goanna be very helpful to both parties.

Unfortunately as residents of Jerusalem are mourning, a scene from a dashcam is widely showing crowds running from the gunfire. For many people this attack will reinforce violence and fear and this could spread from the west bank into Israel
